        Bartender
        
        
            Bartenders are expected to provide courteous and prompt service to guests throughout
                an event, and be capable of mixing and pouring beer, wine, and spirits in a fast paced environment. Bartenders
                have elite customer service skills but stay humble and help anchor each event.
         
        
        
        
General Responsibilities
        
            
                - The Bartender reports directly to the Banquet Captain or Banquet Manager
 
                - Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) at the beginning of each shift
 
                - Anticipate guests’ needs and fulfill them appropriately
 
                - Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by banquet manager
 
                - Greet all guests and provide exceptional service
 
                - Consistently adhere to grooming and appearance standards
 
                - Assist with event set-up and tear down as needed per event guidelines
 
                - Provide assistance in all areas of the event to support the rest of the team
 
                - Demonstrate a pro-active and motivated attitude on all events
 
            
         
        
        
        
Qualifications
        
            
                - Proven history in a bartender role -or- certificate of completion from a bartender school
 
                - High School diploma or equivalent
 
                - Experience in a customer service setting required
 
                - Previous banquet or fine-dining experience preferred
 
                - State Approved Food Handler’s Card
 
                - MAST or OLCC or equivalent
 
                - Ability to self-manage work schedule
 
                - Due to the numerous event locations reliable transportation is required
 
                - Must be 18 or older
 
            
        
         
        
            Both food handler and alcohol permits are required within 10 days of hire.
        
        
        
Physical Requirements
        
            
                - Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs
 
                - Occasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs
 
                - Must be able to stand and exert well paced mobility for up to 8‐hours in length

They understand the context of the event and deliver the right level of service and always stay one step ahead of the guest's needs.
